Facilities and Services for Visitors to HDHS

For the health, safety and comfort of patients visitors and staff, smoking is prohibited at and in the grounds of Hawkesbury District Health Service.

Hawkesbury Community Health Centre

Hawkesbury Community Health Centre is located in the single story building on the left of the internal roadway as you enter Hawkesbury District Health Service. Ample parking is available for Community Health clients. Please use the Community Health entry for the After Hours GP Clinic.

Hawkesbury Private Hospital Main Entrance

Hawkesbury Private Hospital main entrance can be found beyond the Emergency Department. Visitor parking is available opposite the Main Entry. Please ask at our Main Entry reception desk for specific directions or use the floor plan below to locate the ward or department you require. For the safety and security of patients and staff the Emergency Department is the only entry available overnight.

Coffee Shop

Relax outside or in with a hot cappuccino and fresh country style snacks at the conveniently situated coffee shop between the Community Health building and the Emergency Department. Open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday and 9am to 3pm Saturday & Sunday.

Gift Shop

Situated at the end of the main reception foyer, the gift shop offers newspapers, magazines, cards, bathroom accessories, flowers and small gifts for purchase.

Chapel

Our chapel, for reflection and prayer, is located at the northern end of the upper floor of the hospital. For details of services to be held in the chapel, please ask your ward staff to contact our pastoral care workers.
