Therapy Dogs

A good Therapy Dog needs to be clean, well mannered, obedient, calm tolerant, friendly and interested in interacting with people.

Dogs accredited by the Nepean Therapy Dog Club are welcomed in all areas of the hospital, spreading much joy among the patients and staff alike. Benefits of visits range from a simple distraction from too much negative thinking, to the lowering of blood pressure and providing stimulus to promote rehabilitation.

The Nepean Therapy Dog Club is a registered charity. Donations are gratefully received, and may be made at any of our promotion days at shopping centers, or by sending a cheque made payable to "Nepean Therapy Dog Club", 824 Londonderry Road, Londonderry, NSW, 2753.
