Lighting of the HDHS Christmas Tree

Each year we celebrate the coming of Christmas by illuminating the HSHS Christmas tree on the first Thursday of December (this year's event was on Dec 1st) at 7.30pm. Visitors, patients, staff, and community members are all welcome.
We hope that this formal introduction of the Christmas season will heighten our anticipation of Christmas. We are excited to have started a tradition that brings together the community each year to celebrate peace, joy, hope & goodwill in the Hawkesbury. By illuminating the HSHS Christmas tree again this year we hope to continue the tradition of coming together as a community, replacing end of year exhaustion with a truer spirit of Christmas.
The tree is located next to the main entry of the hospital by which we will enjoyed a few words to introduce the illumination of Christmas lights, carols by St Mathew's Primary School choir, Macquarie Towns Coral choir and the Parramatta Salvation Army Band.
